What the Wealthy Buy on Payday
These are the high points of the videos. When you watch it make sure you understand the points below.
The Baby boomers span 18 years, and were born between 1946 and 1964. The oldest are now 55. What are they looking for? Health, education, security, looking younger, money and retirement.
You need to be on the front side of their curve to be in a good business. Leveraging is critical in making money in traditional businesses. However, you will never have an employee who will work as hard as you do if you are the owner. This is not true in NM because it is truly about equal opportunity business where everyone has the same ability to earn whatever they want.
Critical elements for Success:
1) Must have an expanding market
2) Timing - the right product at the right time
3) Unique consumable product, not a one time sale
Leverage is built into NM, otherwise you are working by the hour and there are only so many hours you can work no matter what you earn an hour.
Pyramid?
The Truth is, Americas Fortune 500 companies are built as Pyramids Every family, government and corporation is based on the pyramid. CEO, Pres., Vice Pres., Middle management, Staff/ Employees. The CEO earns on multiple levels of the corporation and the President of the United States earns the most because hes at the top of the pyramid. Currently the NM (Network Marketing) industry is doing about $20 billion a year in sales, with 7 to 10 million distributors in operation. The NM industry is growing 10 to 12 % a year vs. 3 or 4% for traditional corporate retail.

Where to find people to work with?
The same place you would for any business. Personal friends in transition, people with whom you went to school, the internet, placing ads, recruiting companies.
Which would you rather be hired by?
A company with a limited income or, sponsored by a NM company with unlimited income?
Basic concept in NM
I, the upline or sponsor, cant be successful unless I help you be successful You can earn more than I do because there will be two of us helping you build your business. My success is always intertwined with your success. In NM when you put in effort you get paid for years to come not just for the hour or the project.
Traditional Distribution:
Manufacture, National Distributor, Local Wholesaler, National Chain, Advertising, Retail. Example: Soda costs 6c to manufacture and ends up costing the consumer $2 at a restaurant after about six mark-ups.
NM Distribution:
Buy it Wholesale and sell it Retail and never have to inventory the product. All the middle mark-ups go into your pocket in the form of commissions.
Fortune 500 companies that use Network Marketing:Gillette, Coca Cola, MCI, Sprint, Colligate, Xerox, IBM, Texas Instruments, General Motors, General Electric, Toyota have all used Network Marketing to distribute some of their products.
Fact: AT&T has lost 30% of its customers to Network Marketing phone companies.
Sams and Costco are wholesale stores, same idea but you dont get paid for shopping there.
Traditional marketing vs. Network Marketing:
The norm in traditional marketing is based on a sales attitude of how to cut someone or something out to make more profit for the corporation. Its how to keep the trade secret with exclusive rights and territories with all the money funneled to top management.
Network Marketing
In Network Marketing, the concept of competition is completely reversed. It is a people to people business thats based on enthusiasm and warmth. This is what is essential in NM.
1) There are no territories.
2) You get paid what you are worth, no more and no less.
3) It is simply a principal of multiplication and duplication. Anyone can earn more than anyone else simply by talking to more people.
In NM, the company does all the work for you, i.e.. book keeping, manufacturing, shipping, and you just do the advertising!
Benefits:
Get to buy products at wholesale and get paid to do so. Get paid for recommending, which you do anyway (books, movies and restaurants), because Network Marketing is based on relationships.
Home based business with all the tax write-offs and deductions.
Your time is your own. Time freedom to do what you want when you want.
